WELCOME

I am thrilled that you are here, showing an interest in finding out more about Banji’s Class.

Banji’s Class offers performing arts classes to children in London, ages 7-13 (Years 3-8). The classes are held on the weekend and combine training from industry professionals and teachers, in dance, drama, and singing.

Banji’s Class is an outlet for children to develop creatively, build their confidence, and learn transferable skills.

All children attend three hours of training a week, with three separate classes in dance, drama, and singing, during a twelve-week term. There are three terms a year.

During the course of the year, children will have the opportunity to take part in showcases, special performances & events, professional filming & recordings, and the end of year project – a short film/music video, which they work on during Term 3.

As a children’s author and UCL trained teacher, I am aware of the importance of affording children the opportunity to explore their creativity. Our classes help children to foster mental growth, encourage them to try out new ideas, and explore new ways of problem solving. Your child will become more in tune with their own thoughts and feelings, and have fun, making new friends along the way.

I’ll conclude my welcome by leaving you with the following thoughts, and quote, from top music industry executive, Simon Cowell, on Banji’s Class:

“Brilliant, fun, very British! That’s exactly the school I would like to be at!”

Simon Cowell (Britain’s Got Talent)

Thank you for your interest - we look forward to welcoming you and your child to Banji’s Class.
